Access and use of our Web site, together with the sale and the purchase of products from the site, are governed by the terms and conditions set out below. By using the site you agree to accept the following terms and conditions. A contract between Boardsonline and the customer will exist once an order has been accepted, processed, dispatched and received.

Fulfillment
Due to the nature of our business, stock availability cannot always be guaranteed. If your goods are in stock the order will be shipped in order to reach you within 5 working days. Payment is not taken from your credit card until stock has been checked and the order is ready for shipping. Once you have placed an order with Boardsonline an e-mail will be sent to you confirming your order details. It is important that you give us a valid e-mail address so you can receive these e-mails.
Cancellation of orders
Unfortunately, given the nature of electronic commerce, and our ability to ship goods quickly it is not possible to cancel an order placed on the Web site. If you are unhappy with your goods once they arrived you are entitled to returns for goods for a refund or replacement. Please check the order confirmation screen carefully before completing your order as exchange goods sent out on a correctly fulfilled order will incurr a £5 delivery charge.
Pre-orders
Where an item is marked as "Available for pre-order" an expected delivery date will be shown. If you order the goods, they will be dispatched as soon as we receive them from our suppliers. To gain pre order discounts the full amount needs to be paid in advance.
Payment and Security
We accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, Access, Switch, Solo, Delta and Visa Electron cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to process payments from American Express. For your security, all our credit card transactions are processed by Worldpay. Worldpay ensurse that any card details sent by you are encrypted and held securely. No one else, including us, has access to your credit card details.
Shipping Charges
Our FREE delivery service is for the UK mainland only. Deliveries to the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland are charged at our standard rate shown at time of ordering. International orders are also charged at flat shipping rates, again shown when placing your order. If you would like to know the cost of shipping overseas prior to placing the order then please email us or call +44 870 2202338. We will only ship overseas orders to a verified credit card address.
Delivery
Orders that will be shipped to reach the customer within 5 working days and must be signed for so please make sure there will be someone available at your delivery address, otherwise it will mean collecting from your local depot, which occasionally may be some distance away. Please consider this when deciding where to have your goods sent. We use couriers for all items over £30 (inc skateboards under £30) and Royal Mail for smaller, less valuable items. We endeavour to ship orders placed before 12pm the same day, but at busy periods this is not always possible.
Pricing
Prices displayed on the Web site are inclusive of VAT @ standard UK rate.
Returns Policy
Non-faulty items must be sent back in their original unused condition within 14 days of the invoice date. Once received, we will offer an exchange or a full refund as required. CD's, videos, games and DVD's will not be accepted unless they are returned sealed. Magazines and custom skateboard setups cannot be returned. You will be required to pay postage when returning your exchange items to us. Please supply a copy of your invoice/receipt in the parcel. Items returned outside of the 14 day period will incurr a 10% restocking / admin fee which will be deducted from your refund. Faulty items are dealt with individually. Goods are guaranteed against manufacturing defects and all will have to be inspected by us and some by the manufacturer before we can accept them as faulty. Please return your goods to us - once we are satisfied the goods are faulty we will offer a FREE repair, replacement, exchange or refund. Skateboard setups - snapped or cracked boards usually occur when your foot is in the wrong position when landing a trick or grab. Unfortunately, if this happens, Boardsonline cannot replace your broken board or a board with pressure cracks. Custom made set-ups are built to the customer's order and therefore cannot be returned.
Privacy policy
Boardsonline are dedicated to protecting your privacy. When you place an order with Boardsonline you will need to supply us with your name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, e-mail address, a password and payment card information. If you receive an e-mail newsletter you can also 'unsubscribe' by clicking on the link at the end of each e-mail. We endeavour to remove all e-mail opt-outs within 3 working days. Boardsonline will not disclose your details to any third party without your permission. In order to improve customer service and ease of Web site use we will observe customer traffic patterns, purchase data and Web site use. Boardsonline abide by the Data Protection Act 1998.
Security
Boardsonline takes security seriously. We use the latest SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) software encryption technology. This means that information passed between your computer and our Web site cannot be accessed by anybody other than us. Even if anybody could access this data it would be corrupted and appear illegible. Your name and address will be held on the servers but your payment card details will not. Once payment card details have been validated and approved these will be deleted. Although this means that you will need to input your details for each order it only takes a minute and makes it completely safe to order online with us.
Liability Statement
Snowboarding, skateboarding and other related activities are potentially hazardous. It is the individual's own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these activities and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of the items posted on the Boardsonline.co.uk Ltd internet site.
